The Friends is an all-volunteer organization, and we sure can use your help! We always need people to help at our book sales. It takes quite a crew to move all the tables and boxes of books, to work at the sale itself, and to clean up at the end. We also need people who can help with sorting/pricing donated books on a weekly basis at the library, and to continually restock and tidy up the library lobby sales area.
Besides general help, we also often need people for the various committee positions that keep the Friends going as an organization (publicity coordinator, volunteer coordinator, membership coordinator, etc.), as well as people willing to make the commitment necessary for elected board member positions. Please note that we have no paid jobs; everyone working for the Friends of the Sunnyvale Library in any capacity is an unpaid volunteer.

Volunteer Opportunities
GENERAL HELP:
- Setting up at book sales (need to be able to lift tables and boxes of books)

- Help with web programming (must know XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL)
